Crafted from English silver-plate, this diamond-shaped trinket dish features the emblem of HMHS Gascon, a ship built in 1897. During WWI, Gascon served as a hospital ship, notably supporting the Anzac landings. On 25th April 1915, it evacuated 557 wounded from Anzac Cove.
