Hard to find set of seven early 1960s Sascha Brastoff buffet plates and cups in his iconic Surf Ballet design. The large plates have round saucer-like impressions that hold lovely coffee/tea cups, allowing diners to sit on a chair or sofa with their plates on their laps. Beautiful abstract pink, purple, white, gold and platinum glazes as only Mr. Brastoff could do. Marked "Sascha Brastoff California U.S.A." with the iconic rooster mark.
