Description
Charming antique floor desk from India. This 19th century low writing table has been traditionally used for centuries across India by merchants or shop-keepers. It is made from teak wood and features a slope slanted top to be used as writing surface. The top lifts up to reveal compartment for documents. It has two lower drawers plus an interior secret drawer. This lovely piece would fit a modern home as coffee tab or end table.
