Plan for Comfortable Capacity

Are you wondering how many friends and family members you’ll be able to host at your home bar? Measure the length of the countertop to get a sense of the number of seats you can fit at the bar or counter. Common barstool widths are 15, 17, and 21 inches. Ensure your guests have enough elbow room by giving a buffer of at least 26 inches between the center of each barstool.
