Travertine can be honed or polished upon request, with visible pitting and striking color contrasts that highlight the unique beauty and character of each piece. As a natural material, travertine features characteristic pitting, with larger pits carefully filled while smaller ones are left unfilled, enhancing the stone's distinct character. Due to its porous nature, stone can be prone to nicks, stains, or scratches. To preserve its surface, we recommend avoiding the placement of sharp or heavy objects.
