Thomas Cole (1801-48) is considered the founder of the Hudson River School, an art movement that applied Romanticism to landscapes. Now hanging in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, "The Mountain Ford" is believed to symbolize the resilience as well as the majesty of nature. Reproduced on archival canvas, this landscape arrives framed and ready to hang.Designer Olivia Song is known for creating interiors that combine the classical and the cutting edge to glamorous, luxurious effect.
