Description

Our favorite slogan takes rug form! This custom rug was designed by Scout + Tat Frederick and hand-tufted by artisans in India. We love this durable wool mat for the entryway, kitchen, bath or powder room. About the ArtistIn a world inundated with constant allusions and delusions, the artist Tat Frederick pulls her inspiration from the understated wacky and weird details that are present in every day life. Tat creates her visions through sketches and collages and then executes each piece of artwork with other studio artists who bring her unique perspectives to life. Firmly rooted in the ideas of quiet mystery and being off the grid, the Scoutpack finds Tat to be a breath of fresh air in this noisy world of filters and fillers. Tat resides everywhere, yet nowhere. Due to the handmade nature and weaving process, mats may vary slightly in color and size. Standard shipping for this item will typically be UPS to ensure the earliest possible delivery. Specs & Care Choose from our standard size options online, or contact us for a custom size. Tufted rugs feature a 3/4" pile, making for a luxurious feel underfoot. Please note this measurement if planning on placing in front of a doorway.Made in India.Rug Care Regular vacuuming is key to extending the life and beauty of your rug. Avoid vacuuming the fringe of your rug and use a broom instead. Remove spills immediately by blotting with a clean, undyed towel; do not scrub. For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend having your rug cleaned by a professional. Harsh chemicals can damage or fade rugs. Use rug protectors under heavy furniture to protect the rug pile. Rotating your rug every few months can also help relieve areas from excessive wear.
