A vibrant, mid-century serigraph showing a bright, Modernist view of a San Francisco flower market. Signed lower right, 'Harry D Reeks' (American, 1920-1982), titled lower left, 'Flower Stand' and created circa 1950. Born in New Orleans, this listed artist was active in California by 1939. After serving in World War II, he established himself as a screen-printer and became known for his colorful, Post-Impressionist views of popular San Francisco landmarks.
