Constructed in the tradition and quality of Stickley home furnishings, the Mission Rose Cabinet, 2024 Collector Edition, both honors and modernizes traditional carpenters' details, such as bold and chamfered corners with rounded stops. Familiar features of the Mission Style are expressed, in this collector's piece including exposed pin joints and through-posts, (with subtle pyramidal tops) for this modest, yet decorative cabinet, holding endless possibilities in the home. A svelte case, it stands on tapered, and streamlined legs. Functional as an entry piece; accessorize it under a statement mirror or use it at the bedside or as a chairside piece. Its simplicity suits the role for linen storage or would beautifully serve as a mini-bar. The cabinet's interior offers one adjustable shelf, allowing storage which can be customized to accommodate any of these purposes. The solid American White Oak is finished with fashionable, large, and slightly recessed inlays recreating a design from early years of the Stickley Brothers, with British Art Nouveau influence, and decorative, beautiful, wood veneer. First introduced in a bedroom suite, the striking motif also reflects the influence of Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and perhaps was created by T.A. Conti, a Stickley Bros. designer known for his inlay work, (as well as Scotsman David Robertson Smith.) The Mission Rose Collector Cabinet is available in any of the Stickley Oak finishes. The inlay species include walnut, maple, cherry, oak, as well as bird's Eye Maple, and is made in the USA in Manlius, New York.
