This throw is woven from recycled water and beverage bottles that would have made their way into landfills globally. 1.5 million bottles per day are recycled to make fibers such as these for use across rugs, pillows and throws as well as other industrial matting and other uses for global markets. The pattern is the same on both sides. The sides are selvages. the ends create a self fringe that is then hand tied into tassels securing the warp strands.
