Description
Large abstract expressionist painting by Jacob Semiatin. Oil/canvas presented in a minimalist stained wood strip frame. Signed L/R. Circa mid- late 20th C. Semiatan exhibited with the Brooklyn Society of Artists. His first solo exhibition was held at the Contemporary Arts Gallery in New York. He also exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, which today has his work in their collection. His works are in the collections of The Houston Museum of Modern Art and The Jewish Museum of Dublin, Ireland.
