an elegant, yet modern look that is perfect for the office or living room, the jessica 300w torchiere takes your space to the next level. a milky white glass houses two bulbs for maximum light output. a simple rotary switch is located on a dome shaped base turning the lamp on and off. made up of antique brass finished metal, this lamp exudes mid-century modern style. this lamp provides bright ambient lighting for large living spaces. an adesso patented 300 watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 watt incandescent or led bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. a high/low rotary socket switch is located on the socket. note: use incandescent bulbs up to 150w or dimmable led bulbs (do not use: 3-way bulbs or cfl's). we recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. when using led bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). a dimmable led will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur. bulbs are not included.
