The classic hour glass form is updated and elongated in the sustainable Jefferson stand, a sculptural piece fashioned from erosion teak branches laminated to a solid wood core. Jefferson captures the essence of the rustic design movement whether it's used as a side table or to display a prized work of art. Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Never use oiled or treated cloths on lacquered finishes. Some finishes can be wiped with a damp (not wet) cloth, followed at once by rubbing with a dry cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges. For persistent spots, gently clean with a soft cloth and a solution of water and mild soap, make sure to wipe dry. Use adhesive felt pads, coasters and placemats to protect your furniture. The item is made of solid reclaimed pine, which may carry possible hairline cracks, gazing, minor warp, and uneven surfaces. Sometimes, each piece reacts differently to the weather, it is just the nature of a solid wood item, which may also result in warping.
