Description
Trio of lovely vintage French celluloid tins initially for an artificial sweetener created in the 1870s. Perfect for display or to house small objects. Elegantly crafted with central monogram surrounded by botanical flourishes, marks "Sucr dulcor" and "Paris". One also includes the tag line, "Recommande aux diabetiques"..Coloring is much more uniform than it appears; raised lettering is casting shadows in the photos. Dimensions: 3"Dia. x 1"H (1); 2.2" Dia. x .75"H (2). No cracks, no chips.
