French majolica discovered at an antique market in Aix en Provence. Perfect for display with the highly decorative vegetable motif finish or for serving hot beverages such as tea, hot chocolate, cider, or coffee as each cup has a lid to keep the contents warm. No maker's marks. Beverage pots, 6.25"L x 3.75"W x 6"H; lidded cups, 3"L x 2"W x 3"H (with lid), 2"H (without lid). Very good condition; no cracks, no chips, no crazing, glaze and fabrication flaws typical of artisan made pieces.
