Late 19th century painting depicting a young child feeding baby deer her cookie through a fence by German / American artist August Drexler Turner (1854-1919). Turner was born in Germany in 1854. He was a frequent exhibitor at the Paris Salon, where one of his canvases was bought by the Czar of Russia and hung throughout his reign at the Imperial Palace in Petrograd. Oil on canvas, presented in a silver-gilt frame
