Description

19th-century English oval rose needlepoint fire screen under glass surrounded by a banded mahogany veneer frame. Supported on a stand terminating into a fluted escutcheon and oval base supported on an octagonal footed base and top finial. Oval needlepoint frame has couplings on back allowing for height adjustment. No maker's mark. Oval framed needlepoint: 13"W x 4"D x 16"H. Light surface wear, cracking around oval frame.
