This antique Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug is expertly hand-woven using wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. It measures 4'10" x 12'1" and is a prime example of oriental rug weaving, originated on the Anatolian plateau. With each village in the area showcasing unique designs and colors, these rugs were highly sought-after by interior designers due to their bold geometric patterns and soft hues. Their popularity was also reflected in European paintings throughout history
