Most-coveted 1940s Gladding McBean California pottery vase with rare glossy oxblood glaze with glossy white and c ladon glaces as well. Graceful form with a délicate flared-lip top rim, a sensuous body, and a bulb-shaped bottom with a narrow p destal base. Marked "Franciscan Ware Made in California U.S.A." within a mark used by Gladdin McBean from 1940 through 1947. This is a collector pi ce.
